What is a
murder mystery party?
A murder mystery party is a live-action roleplaying game. Each participant plays a character and takes part in a story in which a mystery, usually a crime, must be solved before the game ends.
Our enclosed-setting mysteries bring the characters together in one place for around three hours. The Bikers offers a different kind of adventure: a four-hour travelling investigation by bike, exploring the scenery along the way.
Your role begins
before the evening.
Receive your character.
Every player receives their character sheet in advance. It lets them discover whom they will be playing and prepare before meeting the other participants.
Prepare to bring them to life.
Read your sheet, get to know your character and imagine their voice, mannerisms and costume. Let your creativity guide you. For Murder at the Castle, medieval costumes are provided.
Play your part.
During the evening, you play your character through your conversations and decisions. Make room for improvisation and theatrical play: your interactions bring the story to life, supported by our hosting teams.
Who can you
trust?
The investigation develops through the search for clues and interactions between characters. Listen to accounts, ask questions, compare versions and connect the information you gather to understand what happened.
You will also need ingenuity to find allies, win someone’s confidence and decide what you are willing to reveal. Guard your secrets carefully: the murderer may be among the people you have just been talking to…
